RICKY VELEZ is a proud New York native and still New York based actor and stand-up comedian who was named one of Variety's "Ten Comics to Watch." He can most recently be seen in THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND opposite Pete Davidson, Marisa Tomei, and Bill Burr for director/producer Judd Apatow. Ricky will be shooting his first comedy special for HBO in August, 2021, which will be executive produced by Judd Apatow. Ricky was a correspondent on Comedy Central's THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE, and he has appeared on the Netflix series MASTER OF NONE. As a comic, Ricky was named "New York's Funniest" by Caroline's Comedy Club and was featured in Comedy Central's "Comics to Watch." Ricky has also toured the country and world opening for acts such as Aziz Ansari, Pete Davidson and John Mulaney.
