Launched in 2008, the “New York’s Funniest Stand-Up” competition is open to any and all comedians who think they have what it takes to be New York’s Funniest and previous winners have gone on to become some of the biggest names in comedy. The competitions were always curated by the producers behind The New York Comedy Festival so the level of comedy has always been extraordinary. Past Winners of the New York's Funniest Stand Up competition include Nate Bargatze, Dan Soder, Josh Johnson, David Angelo, Michael Che, Ricky Velez, Joe Machi, Jordan Jensen, and more! The ten finalists will each perform a ten-minute set in front of a panel of comedy industry judges. The winner will receive a cash prize. You will be enjoying great comedy from the rising stars in the comedy world. This year’s event will be hosted by Emmy award winning host, comedian, writer, and producer, Paul Constabile.
