Cited by People Magazine as one of the "Top Ten most successful young people in Hollywood", Nick Cannon is a multi-faceted entertainer: actor, comedian, TV & radio host, musician, writer, director and executive producer. A San Diego native, Cannon headed to Hollywood at the age of 15 where he landed stand-up gigs at several world-renowned comedy venues including The Improv, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store. He went on to his first television gig as an audience warm-up comic for Nickelodeon's long-running comedy-variety series, All That. It wasn't long until Cannon became a regular on the show as well as a writer making him the youngest staff writer in television history at the age of 17. His career quickly catapulted onto the big screen that same year when he made an appearance alongside Will Smith in Men in Black II before landing the lead role in the classic feature film, Drumline. His additional film credits include Bobby, Weapons, American Son and The Killing Room.
In 2005, MTV debuted Nick Cannon Presents Wild 'n Out ... an improv comedy series that ran for four seasons and featured musical performances which Cannon created, produced and hosted. In 2009, he was tapped to replace Jerry Springer as host of NBC's hit show, America's Got Talent helping them draw in record-breaking numbers. And just last year, he produced his own stand-up comedy special, Mr. Showbiz which aired on Showtime where it posted the network's highest numbers in key demos and total viewers. When not in front of the camera or a live audience, Cannon is busy running his highly successful multimedia company, NCredible Entertainment. As well, he can be heard as the host of his own nationally syndicated Top 40 weekend countdown radio show, Cannon's Countdown with CBS Radio.
